SFTX 2009 is now over. (Whew!) While you rest your feet, you might want to browse through these photos and videos from the weekend:
Got feedback? Fill out our handy-dandy form. SFTX is a forum to promote homemade tango, the exploration of new ideas, and the sharing of tango knowledge. We'll convene June 18-21 in San Francisco and the East Bay for a long weekend of dancing, discussion, picnicking, music-making, and just plain hanging out--along with a few surprises. SFTX is a non-traditional learning environment. At SFTX, there are no classes and no teachers--but there is lots of time to explore, exchange, and share ideas with other dancers and musicians. We've developed an exchange format based on presentations, small group discussion, and movement exploration. This format is designed to offer inspiration, while allowing you the freedom to focus on what you want to learn. It only works if you do. So we hope that you'll come prepared with lots of ideas and experiences to build on! For more details, see our schedule. Featured Artists and Presenters:
To find out who else will be coming out to play, see our community page. SFTX is open to anyone who would like to share and exchange knowledge with other dancers, but we only have room for 200 participants, so please register early! This community service message has been brought to you today by Project Tango SF (a non-profit organization) and a crew of local volunteers. Have a question? Send it to help@sftx.info |
